I thought of a few more subjects I should clarify or can provide
more info on.
Windows 3.x Support
When you buy multi-platform LightWave you won't actually get a
Windows 3.x executable. What you'll get is the Windows NT
binary and something from Microsoft called Win32s. Win32s, when
installed on your Windows 3.x system, allows you to run WinNT
programs from normal Windows.
Plug-ins
Allen and I have both been talking a lot about plug-ins. This is
a new architecture for 4.0 that will allow 3rd-party code to be
"plugged in" to LightWave to add arbitrary capability to modeling,
animation and rendering. There are plug-ins planned to be included
in the 4.0 release, and soon afterwords the plug-in development
libraries will be made publically available.
Sharp-edged Metaforms
Someone was asking about sharp-edged Metaforms. That is a planned
feature for 4.0.
That is all.

on the SGI. Zoom!
