  14. more info on.

  16.     Windows 3.x Support

  18. When you buy multi-platform LightWave you won't actually get a
  19. Windows 3.x executable.  What you'll get is the Windows NT
  20. binary and something from Microsoft called Win32s.  Win32s, when
  21. installed on your Windows 3.x system, allows you to run WinNT
  22. programs from normal Windows.

  24.     Plug-ins
  25.  
  26. Allen and I have both been talking a lot about plug-ins.  This is
  27. a new architecture for 4.0 that will allow 3rd-party code to be
  28. "plugged in" to LightWave to add arbitrary capability to modeling,
  29. animation and rendering.  There are plug-ins planned to be included
  30. in the 4.0 release, and soon afterwords the plug-in development
  31. libraries will be made publically available.

  33.     Sharp-edged Metaforms

  35. Someone was asking about sharp-edged Metaforms.  That is a planned
  36. feature for 4.0.
